Human Rights and Self-Advocacy Training
We invite activists who wish to deepen their engagement in human rights work to participate in a three-day training on “Human Rights and Self-Advocacy”.
This training is designed for activists who want to:
- learn what human rights are and how they are protected
- strengthen their knowledge and skills in LGBTQIA+ activism
- contribute to efforts countering anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation in Kazakhstan
Training dates: November 1, 8, and 15 2025 (10:30–17:00)
Format: in-person, Astana
Participation: by prior registration and selection only (limited number of places)
Training topics:
- Introduction to human rights
- Self-advocacy and responding to anti-LGBTQIA+ laws
- Human rights protection mechanisms
Certificates will be issued only to participants who attend all three days of the training. Meals will be provided.
