Meet REQUEST: A New Queer Rights Initiative from Kazakhstan
We present a new Kazakhstani queer human rights initiative “REQUEST: Rights and Equality for Queer Unity, Empowerment and Social Transformation” (REQUEST).
REQUEST brings together human rights defenders with many years of professional experience and a deep understanding of how civil society, state institutions, and the international community function.
REQUEST is based on a partnership between three human rights NGOs: the public foundations “Human Rights Consulting Group” (HRCG), “Nomad Rights” (NR), and the “Glotion Human Rights Center”.
Our initiative aims to promote and protect the rights of LGBTQI+ people in Kazakhstan through an intersectoral approach that brings together and effectively mobilizes available resources.
We strive for professional and impactful human rights work, creating a platform for cooperation and innovation in this important field.
Join us in advancing rights and inclusion at all levels of society.
